Knowsley Safari Adventure

Do you fancy some Safari adventure? Looking for family day out?

If yes, then I have one recommendation. In which you don’t need to travel to Africa for Safari adventure because, the Knowsley Safari Park has loads to offer to make your Safari adventure goes wild.

Visitors are allowed to watch the feeding session for giraffe and feed as well.

Situated in the North West between Liverpool and Manchester in a quite road of Prescot Rd. Prescot, Merseyside L34 4AN

Of course the main attractions are animals from Amphibians to roaring Lions. The knowsley Safari Park, offers a unique adventure trails.

Safari Drive - The only type of leisure attraction that requires the visitor to use their car as (cage) because, it is very dangerous to walk whist the animals are roaring free and that is only a part one of the adventure trail. It’s a wow factor, isn’t it?

The Safari Park is open for all visitors, allows all the family, friends and school children to experience the breath-taking wild animals in free roaming habitats.

Asian Elephant playing

Giant Rhinos
Cheeky Baboons

Check point area for camels. They are very friendly animals.

The part two trail is, if your car is convertible unfortunately, you will miss going to the roaring lions. I’m afraid their paws are very sharp and can rip your roof, as well as the baboons’ route. Baboons like to ride on the roof of the car and they have very sharp teeth.

Part of their safety procedures for the safety of the visitor. Well there is a part that the Safari Park that doesn’t need driving.
It's nice to see these deers' can run free from predators.

Walkabout Area – allows the visitors the meet live creatures there fantastic herd of elephants as well as our giraffe, meerkats, otters, domestic species in the Lake Farm.

Sea lion Show – Time to set back and enjoy the spectacular sea-lion show.

He is waiting for his big entrance for Sea lion show.
Sea Lion Show (This sea lion can play football and can do more tricks.)

Bug House – More to see at the bug house including butterflies, dragonflies and loads of insects

Amusement Rides – such as Bumble Bees, Carousel's, Honeypot Bears, Jungle Safari,
Jungle Dodgems, Lakeside railways, Mini Pirate ships and Rattle snake.

The final trails ends at the Oasis Restaurant offers a wide range of hot and cold food for when you need food on the go.
If you fancy nice and easy with fantastic views then the place to eat is Karamoja Restaurant.

Aerial Extreme - One of the region’s most iconic and popular visitor attractions, we felt it fitting that we should give it the world’s biggest urban High Ropes Adventure Course! With over 60 awe-inspiring obstacles you will amaze yourself as you take each challenge head on, from speedy zip wires, mid-air jumps, suspended gravity defying climbing walls and much more. No experience or skill is required, just a willingness to have fun. Once connected by our instructors to an overhead safety line, that's it! You remain connected throughout the aerial journey allowing you to concentrate on having fun.
Shopping for souvenirs there is a wide range of soft toys, decorations and other beautiful souvenirs to take home.

Our overall experience:

I am very impressed of the concept of the entire Safari Park. It was very exciting to have a unique safari adventure.

I can tell how much effort they put up to create such excellent and award-winning leisure attractions in the Merseyside.

The highlight of our Safari drive was the kissed from a massive camel in my side car window. I was a bit scared if they are going to smash my window side. But they are not, they like smelling thats all. They are very friendly animals and feeding the giraffe is absolutely incredible.

We definitely recommend the Knowsley Safari Park to all the visitors. Why not take the whole family at knowsley Safari Park one day.

  1. Wow! This is the first time that I'm hearing about a safari adventure in the UK. Usually when I hear safari's, I instantly think of Africa. =) Nonetheless, your tour looked really exciting, heart-pounding even. =)

I didn't need to go to Africa...but I have to go to the UK! More expensive, haha! Anyway, I just wonder how these safari animals can survive the weather of the UK. I know it also gets cold in Africa, but surely not UK cold.

  1. I love it. Being close tonature myself, I want to see this park, but I hope the animals are given the right space as if they are just in their natural habitat :)

AJ - They are used to the weather. It's like us if we travelled to West they have 4 seasons a year we have to adjust to the weather in order to survive. They do have houses with central heating so they will keep nice and warm. Sosyal sila may bahay na cental heating pa. hahaha

South Africa is one of the places we're planning to visit if we got a long vacation masyado kasing kulang if few days lang :)
